Great summary! Since the start of the conflict in Ukraine, BoJo has visited Kiev three times, the final time being only shortly before he left office. It appears that in March the Russians and the Ukrainians were very close to reaching some kind of agreement for the cessation of hostilities, but that US/UK neocon cabal wanted Ukraine to fight on, insisting that Russia must be weakened if not defeated on the battlefield. BoJo, apparently serving as their envoy, went to Kiev to encourage/compel Zalensky to scupper the deal. In this particular case, the diplomacy doesn't appear to have even been all that secret. They really want their war.

Just found your substack - very good. Through the Vanessa Beeley's interview of you.

You skip a few other curious facts about Sikorski.

His first job was as a journalist developing close contact with the Mujahidin in Afghanistan. If that wasn't clue enough to him working for both British and American intelligence you have his marriage to professional Russia hater and WaPo director, Anne Applebaum.

Yes he was both Defence minister and Foreign Minister of Poland in 2007. But the incredible thing is that the first was with PiS and the second for Civic Platform. These two parties absolutely hate each other.

And then google Sikorski You'll all be dead

To see the video clip of his role in the 2014 illegal coup.

I am thrilled to see you on here Alex. Your incredibly well informed work is amongst the best analysis that I have known over the past decade. Thank you for your excellent overview of the key factors which have brought us to the war drums of today.

G'Day Alex, Thanks for this post. Highly illuminating, especially for those who are still currently "sleepwalking" in to the next war. Having read the work of Quigley, Preparata#, Messrs Docherty and MacGregor#, and others of a similar view of both Britain and America's unerring propensity for "warlike enterprise" (under cover of being the good guys of course), I was well aware of the background that you have presented herein. Indeed, I interviewed Guido Preparata on my radio program a few weeks back, and will be interviewing Gerry Docherty later this week. (See link below for more information.*)

Further to that, back in 2015 and 2017 respectively, I penned two separate feature articles, each inspired (respectively) by Docherty and Jim MacGregor's work, and Guido's book. Again, yourself and your readers can view these in the links below**. (NB. These articles have since been updated from my now defunct blog onto my Substack.) The respective aims of these articles were to draw attention to what I saw were (even back then) obvious parallels between contemporary events as they stood at the time and those delineated by the aforementioned authors and to which your article referred. Thanks again for the post.
